A fashion girls day on the green
The rain stopped. Thank God! Just in time for my very fashionable friend to hit the green and share her thoughts on all things golf. Granted, my source is more interested in fashion than golf. Actually, as of 7am this morning, she was looking less than thrilled with her impending date. But, sometimes a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do!
What she recounted from her journey into the "golf world" was indeed very insightful! The train ride into Rosemont and subsequent shuttle went smoothly. The main hurdle in her travels was.....MUD. Lots of mud!
Apparently the male spectators kept it basic. The standard golf shirts, baseball hats and shades were par for the course:)! The ladies were a little more inventive. The most noteworthy among them sporting shorts with their Hunter Boots!
Perhaps her most titillating observation was this, "some of the golfers were young and HOT"! Really? Who new?
There were plenty of autographs to be had and the 14th tee box was the place to be!
At the end of the day, I'd say at least one girl had a pretty good day on the green!
